From recording to editing, from merging to cutting, from mixing to equalizing, AVS Audio Editor is a comprehensive audio creation, editing, and enhancing tool that can be used by beginners and audio technicians alike. You can produce new recordings from scratch and work with existing audio files in any of the most widely used audio codecs, and then edit, mix, split, merge, convert, or add effects to them in a professional yet simple way.

This excellent audio application comes with all the features you would expect to find in the most advanced professional audio tools, and then some. Its different visualization modes (waveform, spectral, and envelope) will let you work on your audio files in the way you find most convenient for you and the task in hand. Audio can be loaded from an existing audio file, grabbed from a CD, extracted from a video file, or recorded in real time. The list of supported formats is exhaustive, covering both the most popular lossy and lossless codecs (MP3, FLAC, AAC, WAV, Ogg, etc.) and some not-so-well-known ones, such as SHN, MPA, VOC, or MPC.

The variety of editing tools, filters, effects, and other features is also extensive. You will find specific functions to perform professional noise-reduction tasks, equalize and amplify your audio files, add fade in and out effects, delete the silence in between tracks, mix various audio files, produce M4R ringtones for your iPhone, or create audio recordings from text files using TTS technology. All of these functions and their dialogs have been designed to be intuitive and easy to apply, making this excellent tool suitable for a wide range of users.

AVS Audio Editor may well be, in many cases, the only tool you will ever need to cover all your audio-related requirements. Its functionality is exhaustive, it covers all the most popular formats and codecs, and has been designed and structured in a way that is suitable for a wide array of users.
